We saw Boone (Nick Jonas) "dead" but it turned out that he wasn't actually dead, so how do we possibly trust that people we haven't seen dead are truly dead? For example, we see Melanie fall to the ground but who's to render her dead? I'm going to let her go though since I doubt her death would've been speculated upon in court without a post-mortem report of sorts. I am not a science student, but I do believe you can not post-mortem anyone until they're dead, but hey, what about Chanel #4 who died of Meningitis? She died of it after she went home despite the fact Chanel #1 insisted that she doesn't, so no one really saw her dead. Given their reaction to Chanel #2's death, I doubt any of them would be interested in attending a funeral for poor old Chanel #4 who might just not have died after all. Perhaps she'd just had enough, or came across something else that made her want to leave, but feared Chanel #1 too much to say it. According to Chanel#1, by the way, she only said "I'm sick! I have to go home!" which could mean she claimed to have a headache and temperature that the extremely intelligent Kappa sisters assumed to be Meningitis since they're clearly full of drama.
But that's temporarily irrelevant.
What I am getting to is that perhaps baby didn't live too much longe than that night. And if it did, it was stolen away from the Hag of Shady Lane who is either the pledge that held onto the baby or the one that gave birth to it. I know she was buried but that does not indicate she was dead. The only reason they assumed she was, was because "her eyes are stuck open". It's also completely natural for the pulse rate to drop post-partum.Anyway, so Gigi - irrelevant of whether she is the mother or just a girl in the Kappa house that night - is in denial about the baby being dead or lost but believes it's somewhere closeby which is why she keeps within the neighbourhood to steal baby girl toys! That's right, look at these!! They're mostly little dolly girls, which could be attributed to the fact that not too many male dolls are even made but meh. So she steals the toy, tries to nurse it, realises it's not the baby and then goes out in search for another one. It's impossible that she was nursing an actual baby and no one ever heard it make a sound considering there were people that came close enough to the house to hear the Hag of Shady Lane wail. Also, how would an actual baby be taken care of without any actual resources for eight weeks? They say it was a month or two before she went out to steal milk and diapers. Also, one carton of milk and just thta many diapers for the entirity of the baby's childhood? I don't feel it. The baby was either dead or stolen away that very night.
Since the House at Shady Lane isn't too far from the university and Dean Munsch is not a fool, she would've made two and two of the news and caught hold of Gigi and had her institutionalised post which she went on to pursue her education but landed a Carribean home so close to where the Kappa girls went in spring and a job with the very same sorority. This could either be Dean Munsch's way of keeping tabs on her or if she has nothing to do with it, Gigi's meticulously calculated plan to be close to the house since the Dean seems to think she has lost all memory of the "traumatic" incident that occured in the 90s.
I do not think Wes or Pete are guilty, but I do think Pete is somehow "trapped" depending on how seriously y'all are willing to take the title sequence in which his hands are bound. The red devil finds him when he is snooping in the Dean's office and also follows him and Grace to Mandy's home in the woods. Perhaps this means that while the devil will not kill him for whatsoever reason, Pete is always being kept track of and followed. This could also be why Gigi - who would know about this - let him go in the opposite direction with Wes and Grace when they were in the house. Maybe this is far-fetched but maybe the homosexual red devil that we know of, aka Boone, is in love with Pete and spent time in his room which is why he had the red devil costume in his closet. I can't make complete sense of this. On one hand, Pete could be a "double agent" only trying to map the girls' progress but on the other hand, he could be falling for Grace and genuinely trying to help her solve the mystery even though he's tied down by the fact he's in cahoots with the devil.
Speaking of the devil, he seems to be a good guy other than when he is killing people or taking their arms because the land-lady claims he pays his rents well in advance. There are sufficient rich suspects, one of them being Chanel number 3 whose mother isn't mentioned at all, but she's probably the Kappa sister that ended up doing "really well on Fox News" since I'm not sure an imprisoned murderer father makes enough to wire her a thousand dollars to bail Chanel. Also, why would she ask Sam to be her alibi when she could just stick with the Chanels? Perhaps because she knew they were in danger? She has never been seen in the same place as the Red Devil and pretty much digs Deaf Taylor Swift's grave.. and puts her in it, only leaving her head outside. (Throwback to episode one!) I like her too much to claim she is the killer, but it's just possible. While she isn't aggressive in being assertive, she does stand up to say in episode 5 that she if Chanel is away at prison and 2 is dead, she is clearly next in line to be President given that she is number 3. She does not seem bothered by Zayday's disappearance, perhaps because she knows that Zay is perfectly safe in the lair where the devil is pampering her. While this was perceived as a romantic gesture by the rest of the charactes, I do think that it was an obvious attempt to make Earl a suspect and the devil only wanted to give her reason to stay for a while instead of going to dethrone Chanel. If Zayday became the President, Chanel number 3 would not be "next in line". Also the puppy seen in the Red Devil's arms is something I would imagine Chanel number 3 or heck, her mother, to be carrying. Also, this might be outrageous, but if we are considering a romantic angle to the chips date between Zayday and the red devil, hey, Chanel 3 was introduced peeping out of the closet. She also gravitates towards the other LGBTQ member of the house for help (Sam) when the situation calls for it, but this might be ridiculous. I'm also thinking of how she is seen to be in the bathtub in the title sequence and how the devil's costume was seen in the closet too. This is so far fetched, aha. Perhaps she also bailed Chanel so quickly given that her father too was in prison and she did not want Chanel to hear of the fact Charles Manson is (supposedly) her father.
Sigh, but I do not want Chanel number 3 to be the killer. What I have in support for her is that there's no way to prove she was aware of Chanel's idea to kill Miss Bean. There's also no way she is able to conspire in her room given that if Chanel has cameras in Chanel 5's room, she probably has some in 3's room too. It would also mean Chanel number 3 is in cahoots with Gigi which isn't clear either. Also, it would only make sense for her to do away with Chanel 6 (Neckbrace) who hopes to be President and is willing to kill for it rather than Chanel 5 who is beginning to rebel against Chanel.
If not the killer, she could be the baby if at all she survived and then chose to come back to Wallace..
