A MAJOR PLOT HOLE

Watch this if you forgot the scene I found a plot hole. Not sure if this is plausible cause it's not well-thought out or original as in someone suggested this before, but hear me out. Apparently, Pete had found out that Hester was the female Red Devil during the events of Mommie Dearest, per the same dress that she wears here. So, my question is, why didn't Pete turn in the killers after finding out who the final Red Devil was? This is what I'm getting at: Pete had no reason to kill Boone, because he knew all the killers. If he really wanted to stop the killings, which he claimed was his reason to kill Boone, why not turn in Boone, Gigi, and Hester?

Here are some theories I've heard when I explained this elsewhere (and I quote):

That's because Boone, Gigi, and Hester could have easily got on him about the fact that he killed Roger, u dumbass.
DUH!!! Maybe, he analyzed Hester and the Chanels' DNAs AFTER killing Boone. YOU FOOL!!! HOW DID YOU NOT THINK OF THIS?!!!
Hester killed Boone and Pete was trying to look like a bigshot in front of Grace for killing off the muscle of the team. After all, Gigi was pressuring Hester so hard to kill Boone, and after playing Eeeny, Meanie, Miney, Moe in her mind, she decided to kill Boone, but she thought that game was stupid, so she decided to get rid of Gigi, too. Hester killing Boone made more sense anyway, juding by how Boone referred to the killer and at the end of Mommie Dearest, Boone clearly was talking to Hester, by saying to RD, in a nutshell "Weren't you laughing your ass off at Gigi's costume, Hester?"

Pete's grudge was either against the Chanel or girls in general, assuming he attacked Zayday in the tunnels, knowing she's Grace's best friend.

The question is: Is Hester Boone's true murderer? I really don't wanna believe that.

Evidence: Based on her monologue, it is apparent that Hester's own indivdual plan always included her being the only surviving Red Devil, her killing off all the other killers. Hester also only killed Pete to protect herself from being revealed as the Red Devil. It clearly had nothing to do with Boone, per the end of her monologue where she made it look like Boone and Gigi were dead to her from the beginning. Boone also says to the Red Devil, "Where's Gigi? Did you TELL her midnight?", and how would Pete being able to tell Gigi anything without letting Gigi know he was involved, or Boone giving away Hester's killer identity. Pete could have been pretending to be Hester, but in his confession, he said Boone CALLED him over to assist him in killing Gigi, so we can rule that situation out. Boone also says, "We're done taking orders from you. We're grown-ups now.", did you catch that?

No one will ever agree with me, but I bet it was Hester on the tunnels. The Red Devil came from the same place that they had come (inside the house), Hester changed to her outfit and come to chase them

And about your theory, I think I prefer to trust Pete on that one. The only thing certain in Scream Queens is that the characters don't lie, if they fake their death, we know they did it, if they killed someone, we also know it. You have a good point, the outfit and the "did you tell her midnight?" but also, when Boone was getting killed, Hester was with The Chanels, it was the night she was pushed down the stairs

I think: Pete kills Boone while Hester is pushed on the stairs. Hester comes and realize her brother was dead (Gigi said "sorry we had to kill your brother", but she could be reffering to them, Gigi and Hester), and she was so furious that she killed Gigi. On Dorkus, Hester was on the closet and know the truth, so she killed Pete to protect herself and for killing Boone

I thought that it was Hester too, because time has never been very consistent in Scream Queens, especially Season 2, like Boone attacking Chanel and then killing Shondell, which is why I believe my theory could be plausible. Hester came from the same tunel entrance as Hester and Zayday. For all we know, pretty much everything is a lie with this show. There are countless plotholes, such as Dean Munsch knowing Hester was the bathtub baby from the beginning. Wow, Ryan! Laziest writing ever!

I think I'll never understand how Cathy knew Hester as the baby all the time and never said anything, it was very frustrating
