Roger Bart is an American film, television, and stage actor and singer. He is best known for his voice on Hercules (1997), and his acting in Hostel: Part II (2007), Revenge (2011-2015) and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008).

He guest-starred in the episode Chainsaw as Mr. Herfmann on Season One of Scream Queens.

Career[]

Roger made his Broadway debut in Big River as Tom Sawyer in 1987. His role as Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown won him the Drama Desk Award and a Tony Award in 1999. Later, he played Leo Bloom in the popular musical, The Producers, earning him Drama Desk and Tony nominations.

Roger made his TV debut on the The George Carlin Show in 1994, playing the role of George's son. He later became widely known to viewers with his portrayal of George Williams, the murderous pharmacist in love with Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross), on Desperate Housewives, which earned him a SAG Award. He later starred in many more TV series such as Revenge, The Event, CSI: Miami, and Scream Queens.

Bart also provided the singing voice for Hercules in Disney's Hercules, as well as the singing voice of Scamp in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure. He made his film debut in the 1999 movie, The Insider with a minor role of a hotel manager. He later starred in other movies such as the The Stepford Wives, The Producers, Excision, etc.
