Grace Phipps is an American actress and singer, best known for her role as Lela on the Disney Chanel original movies Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2. She has also appeared on The Nine Lives of Chloe King and The Vampire Diaries.

She guest-starred on Season One of Scream Queens as the young Mandy Greenwell.

Life and career

Phipps was born on May 4, 1992 in Austin, Texas, but grew up in Boerne & San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, and The North East School of the Arts, majoring in 'musical theatre'.

After graduating high school, Phipps moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, and landed the role of Bee on the remake of the neo-noir comedy horror film Fright Night. She later portrayed Amy on the ABC Family series The Nine Lives of Chloe King, which got canceled after one season of airing. In 2012, Phipps appeared in ten episodes of the fourth season of The Vampire Diaries, with the role of April Young.

In 2013, Phipps was part of the Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach Movie, along with Maia Mitchell and Ross Lynch. For the musical film, she performed a number of featured solos, including "Falling For Ya". Grace Phipps reprised her role as Lela in the sequel, Teen Beach 2.

In 2014, Phipps appeared in the episode "Directors & Divas" of the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally as Brandy Braxton, and performed the song "The Pilot and the Mermaid" with co-lead role of the series Ross Lynch.

In 2015, Phipps guest-starred as the young Mandy Greenwell in the first season of Fox's horror-comedy TV series Scream Queens.
