The following is a list of rules detailing the guidelines and requirements for creating and commenting on the forums.
These rules are originally from The Walking Dead Wiki.
Creating Forum Posts
No Duplicate Threads
Before you create a forum thread, be sure to look and see that another user has not made said forum you are about to create. After a while, it will begin to clutter up the forum sections for each topic.
No Spoilers
Spoilers will not be tolerated. Spoilers are any information that is released prior to the legal release date. If details about an upcoming episode/issue/etc has been released to the public, it is not considered a spoiler.
No Harassment
The forums are not the places to solve personal disputes. If you have an issue with another editor, leave a message on their personal talk page as well as on the talk page of an administrator. Derogatory comments about race, religion, gender, or anything else are not allowed. While swearing is okay, swearing directed at other users is not.
Be Relevant
There are several different topic threads you can post your thoughts on, so be sure to create a forum thread under the categories of "Comic Series Discussion," "TV Series Discussion," "Video Game Discussion," etc. So, make sure you are creating a forum thread under one of those topics.
Administrative Board
The administrative board is for admins-only, so be sure you do not accidentally, or intentionally, create a forum thread there.
Commenting
Commenting rules are the same as the forum rules. These include the following:
- No Spoilers
- No Harassment
- Be Relevant
- No Administrative Board commenting
Spam or otherwise disruptive comments will be deleted.
Note:
All forum posts and comments can be edited or deleted at any administrator’s discretion. Administrators will provide a reason for why a forum post or comment is deleted. If you have further questions, leave a polite message on the talk page of the administrator who deleted your forum or comment and they will provide clarification. Remember: Any deleted threads can be restored or have their information gathered by an administrator after deletion.
