- There was originally supposed to be three new male doctors, but only two ended up being cast, Dr. Brock Holt and Dr. Cassidy Cascade.[6]
- There was supposed to be a two year time jump between the end of Season One and the beginning of Season Two, thus taking place in 2018; however, the premiere of the second season set the current events in 2016.

- The show was cancelled on May 15, 2017.
