Thanksgiving is the tenth episode of the first season of Scream Queens, and the tenth episode overall. Brad Falchuk served as writer and Michael Lehmann served as director. It had its official release on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 on Fox.
Chad takes Chanel to his family home for Thanksgiving, where she meets his brothers, Brad and Thad, as well as his parents. However, an uninvited guest throws the holiday into chaos. Meanwhile, Dean Munsch gathers the survivors at Kappa House, but dinner quickly explodes into accusations of who among them is really the killer. Then, the Red Devil carves up a deadly main course as another victim falls.
Plot[]
Chanel tells Chad that Hester wasn't actually pregnant and that she pushed Hester down the stairs. Being the necrophiliac Chad is, he wants to see the body, but when Chanel leads him to the meat freezer to show it to him, the body isn't there. Chad suggests that Hester wasn't actually dead and that she got up and walked away after the Chanels put her there.
Gigi Caldwell and the Red Devil are shown relaxing in their hotel room. Gigi complains about not being able to spend the holiday with her boyfriend, but regardless, she thanks the Devil for keeping her company. Moments later, room service brings them a meal. Gigi is about to cut it before she thanks the Devil for being the closest she has to family, since she abandoned her true family years ago. Gigi then decides the Red Devil should "do the honors" of cutting the quail, so she hands her the carving knife.
Chanel #3's family
Chanel #3 then goes to spend Thanksgiving with her family, but is so disgusted by how arrogant and insane they are that she ends up leaving and going back to campus. There, she finds Dean Munsch preparing a turkey.

Chad takes Chanel to spend Thanksgiving with his family. Each of his family members share one thing they're grateful for. As Chanel becomes more and more irritated by Mrs. Radwell's arrogant remarks about her, Hester arrives unexpectedly. She claims to be Chad's "sober coach," stating that he has a drinking problem. A fight quickly ensues. Chanel is then later seen calling her mother, asking for help, when Chad's father walks in. He asks Chanel to name her price, and she asks if he's propositioning her. Chad's father further explains that he'll give her a check of fifty thousand dollars if she'll leave and never come back. Chanel is irritated about the way Chad's parents treat her and storms out.
As Cathy Munsch has Thanksgiving dinner with Grace, Zayday, Wes, Pete, Chanel #3 and Chanel #5, they begin to argue over who they think the killer is. Cathy thinks it's Chanel #3, while Chanel #3 thinks it's Cathy. Wes starts to accuse Grace, and it is revealed that Grace was taking a tour of Wallace's campus and happened to be visiting Kappa on the same day Melanie Dorkus was attacked. However, Grace denies being the killer, provides evidence as to why she couldn't be, and then quickly shifts the blame on Chanel. She also says she thinks Chanel was the one who put hydrochloric acid in Melanie's tanning spray.
The Radwells playing pictionary
As the Radwells play pictionary, they continue to insult Chanel and Hester. Finally, Chanel gets fed up and goes on a rant. She apologizes for trying to kill Hester and then proceeds to tell off each of the Radwells, ending with Chad, and telling him she never wants to talk to him again. She then storms away, accompanied by Hester, the two girls having made amends.
Meanwhile, Pete shows up at Kappa in the midst of all the killer accusations and tells a story he has compiled of evidence he has dug up that proves Wes is the killer. Pete reveals that, by bribing a government official with drugs, he discovered that Wes was Boone's father, and thus, the father of the other bathtub baby.
Gigi's severed head
Wes then speaks with Grace alone and tells her that he didn't know he had knocked up Sophia. After the two make up, Zayday calls them over for dinner. Chanel and Hester arrive, as does Chad soon after. He and Chanel make up as well, and Chanel #3 and #5 go retrieve the turkey. As Chanel Oberlin uncovers the turkey, everyone begins screaming in horror. It is revealed that instead of holding the turkey, the platter is holding the decapitated head of Gigi.
